New Filter Equipment

Carlson offers a comprehensive range of new filtration equipment, incorporating a full range of sheet filters and plate and frame filters varying from lab scale 20cm units through to large 120cm automatic closing units. These can be offered in a variety of formats and materials of construction and a Carlson engineer can provide advice regarding the exact size and number of plates and/or plates and frames needed to match the desired throughput. Laboratory filter

Carlson can also offer a model 6/1 laboratory filter. This operates with a filter sheet of 6cm diameter (4.5cm diameter effective) and has a capacity of 80ml. A negative or positive pressure can be applied. The laboratory filter allows small quantities of product to be filtered through a variety of different filter media using different parameters, such as flow and pressure. The results from such simple trials can be scaled up to pilot plant and production scale filtration units.

XL2000 40cm economy filter press

Demand for 40cm presses has been very healthy over the last few years and in order to satisfy demand Carlson have developed a cost effective filter press, XL2000, at a price to match the cost of buying and reconditioning an existing press
