Sugar Syrups - Carbon Treatment

For certain types of required high quality syrup, it is possible to achieve this level of decolourisation by using a Carlson activated carbon impregnated sheet from the PROC3 range, which has been specially designed for applications of this type.

The PROC3 range not only decolourises but acts as a polishing sheet as well. It's use requires low flow rates so that the required level of decolourising is achieved.

Typical flow rates used in this application are 385 lites per square metre per hour.
